Example A - One of our criteria for selecting carriers is frequency of service to the areas you need to go. The more frequently a carrier is in your area, the better the price we can obtain for your shipment. You don't waste valuable time looking for equipment; our Allied Dispatch Program already has it!
Example B* - Our customer required a flat deck to haul 56k lb of 60' material from Denver to Edmonton. In the US this is classified a maxi load and maxis are prohibited on Interstates in Colorado. Example D – A customer needed a truck ASAP out of Denver to Edmonton. Our Allied Dispatch Program had a truck picking up within 1 hour of their call to Ontime.
Example E – A client had 3 1/2 truck loads from Arkansas to Alberta. How did Ontime save our customer money on the 1/2 load? Our Allied Dispatch Program contracted ultra-lightweight equipment resulting in three full loads. The savings were the cost of what would have been, at very least, an LTL charge.
Example F – Ontime’s customer wanted to purchase material out of Petersburg, VA destination Edmonton, AB. However, weight and length restrictions created serious logistic challenges. Ontime discussed the option of picking up in Los Angeles, Portland and Seattle. Ontime’s flexibility resulted in cost savings for our customer while avoiding the Petersburg logistic problems.
